"A WOMAN IS HALF OF SOCIETY; SHE CAN BE ANYTHING SHE WANTS TO BE"
~19 year old Palestinian college student.
Palestinian Women transports us to sacred thoughts, raw feelings and never before-heard stories of fifty-five Palestinian women ages 18-90 living in eighteen West Bank villages. Born into various socio-economic backgrounds and religious beliefs (including Muslim, Christian, Agnostic & atheist), these women openly address controversial topics, including a Palestinian woman's role in society, the importance of having a personal identity and how much emphasis is to be given to education, marriage and religion in her life.
