GHÜL STORIES

The ghül is a mythical, demonic creature from Middle Eastern folklore, known for its dark powers, including the ability to shape-shift and cause harm in various forms—physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. It is associated with creating inner conflict and a sense of lost direction.

From a personal perspective, the ghül can represent negative thoughts, feelings, or behaviors that erode our sense of worth, love, and unity. The message emphasizes the need for protection from these destructive forces, the restoration of the earth, and the integration of the darker aspects of nature. This project explores both ancient and modern interpretations of the ghül, aiming to help process collective and individual traumas. It challenges us to reflect on the ghül we are confronting in our own lives. What ghül are you facing today?
